Meeting of the organic winegrowers of AlsaceCome and discover or rediscover the diversity of Alsace's organic wines in the heart of Orschwihr, a village situated between vineyards and dry hills.
ON THE PROGRAM :
6 FREE TASTING STOPS:
- Terroir wines, Varietal wines, Grands crus, Natural and original wines, Crémants and Pinots Noirs.
- More than 80 organic wines from Alsace will be presented
5 TASTING WORKSHOPS (on registration) :
- 11.30am and 1.30pm: Riesling with organic comté - David Lefèbvre (5 euros participation)
- 12pm and 2pm: Pinot noir with different maturation of meat - David Lefèbvre (5 euros participation)
- 3pm: Organic wine and cheese pairing from the Saint Nicolas cheese dairy - Jacques Quesnot (5 euros participation fee)2 guided walks in the vineyards
2 GUIDED WALKS IN THE VINEYARDS:
- 10am: Climb the Bollenberg hill with Hubert Ott, president of the Rouffach Incitation Nature association and Claudia Caridi from the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park to read the landscape and discover the Natura 2000 site
- 2pm: Mini transhumance with the ewes of the Fermede Kikou and Claudia Caridi on the Bollenberg hill
2 MUSIC AND WINE WORKSHOPS (on registration)
- 4pm and 5pm: Tastings of 5 wines accompanied by a violin tune chosen and played by Vincent Mornas (7 euros participation)
