On the program:
- Betschdorf: the art of salt stoneware pottery, followed by a clay workshop on Sunday September 22 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.
Presentation of Betschdorf pottery in the museum. Explanation of the manufacturing process, history, past and present uses of the pottery.
Creation of a small pottery object, impression of plant prints or doilies in clay.
Instructor : Manon Zinck Dambach "Hafele et Storichele", children aged 6 to 12 accompanied by an adult.

- Exhibition: "Thimbles, between utility and fantasy" on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
This small exhibition will show pieces from a private collection. Thimbles, rarely used today, first appeared in 5000 B.C. and have continued to evolve over time, in terms of material, shape and use. From useful objects, they have become decorative, votive, advertising and even commemorative items.
