Orienteering is an activity that combines physical activity with strategic thinking. Using a map, and sometimes a compass, participants are tasked with finding a number of hidden markers in the countryside. This sport encourages orienteering skills, spatial awareness and team spirit, while allowing participants to enjoy the natural surroundings. Suitable for beginners and the more experienced alike, orienteering is an ideal adventure for young and old alike!
The long blue beginners' circuit is designed to offer a first contact with orienteering, while remaining accessible to the whole family. Along a 2.3 km course in the heart of Guebwiller's parcours vitae, participants will have to find 15 beacons hidden in strategic areas. The circuit has a slight gradient of 120 meters, offering a touch of challenge without being too demanding.
Ready for the challenge? Head for the first beacon!
