The Village Fête

7 summer evenings at the Écomusée d'Alsace

This summer, the Écomusée d'Alsace invites you to experience the magical atmosphere of the Village Fete evenings. As soon as night falls, the village is transformed into an old-fashioned funfair, lit up by a thousand lights and enlivened by games, songs and shows.

In this enchanting setting, immerse yourself in a festive and authentic atmosphere, with an open-air orchestra, traditional games such as chamboule-tout or duck fishing, jugglers and local tastings. The night-time decor and entertainment will transport young and old alike into a world of wonder, laughter and conviviality.
The highlight of each evening? A spectacular fire juggling act followed by a rhythmic concert to round off the festivities in style.

Dates: 31 July, 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 August 2025.

Good to know:

During the Fête au Village, the Écomusée d'Alsace is open non-stop from 10am to 11pm. Two visit formats are available:

• You can choose to buy an admission ticket for the Écomusée d'Alsace and visit the museum during the day, then stay on site for the Fête au Village (at no extra charge).


• You can choose to come in the evening only, by buying a Fête au Village ticket (tickets available soon), which gives you access to the site from 6pm. (During the Fête au Village, the museum houses are closed).

Museum-Pass-Musées: the Fête au Village is not included in the Museum-Pass-Musées. We advise Museum-Pass-Musées holders to arrive in the afternoon (otherwise, from 5pm, they will have to pay the entry fee for the Fête au Village).
Picnics: You are welcome to bring your own picnic to the museum, and a number of tables have been set up around the village for you to take a gourmet break! You are also welcome to leave the site during the day (to fetch a cool box from your car, for example), but you need to sign in at the ticket office.
On-site catering: several fast-food outlets (tarts flambées, chips, sausages, drinks, etc.) are available. However, if the event is very busy, you may have to wait to be served.)
